It's been a little over a week, and I'm finally getting around to sharing my August wrap-up. The past month has been a whirlwind of family-centric experiences that have left me both exhausted and immensely grateful. When you choose to center a month's theme around family, be prepared for an abundance of quality time with your loved ones! Throughout August, I found myself engaging with family members who had traveled from out of state. Twenty-four out of thirty-four days - it was an incredibly busy time! Priceless lessons learned and incredible memories made. I wish I had the time to capture more of this special month; there were truly some cherished moments.
Although this is brief, here is a snapshot of my August posts.

Island memories, grief and loss, and Ohana's bond
The year 2012 marked the start of a tradition for my family. Every other year, we have ventured to Maui in July. The island's landscape is woven with cherished memories, and a day spent in Lahaina is a part of our traditions. Contemplating our memories, I'm reminded of countless families whose own recollections are interwoven with this beloved place.
