Beginner Summer Story Writing Camp

Service Description

This camp is for beginner writers. (Also great for families.) Have you always wanted to learn the magic behind storytelling? If so, then this camp is for you! Whether you have a story idea in your head or just love the idea of writing a story - get ready for creative excitement and fun! Through games and activities, we will explore the elements of a story while building our own group story. Then when you leave camp, you will have the tools to craft your own original story. (5 sessions) What You Will Do: Create engaging characters Plot a page-turner story Bring life to a story setting Increase the conflict and tension Explore theme and the importance of stories Craft a satisfying ending to our group's unique story At the end of camp, you will know: How to create a story outline The elements needed for a story Ideas of how to develop your own original story Cancellations made 7 days or more in advance of the event date, will receive a 100% refund. Cancellations made within 3 - 6 days will incur a 20% fee. Cancellations made within 48 hours to the event will incur a 30% fee.
