Advanced Summer Story Writing Camp

Service Description

This camp is for advanced writers. Bring to camp a story project or idea you wish to develop further. Each Wednesday we will focus on a story element topic. We will engage in an activity around that topic, allow time for you to apply what you have learned, participate in group reads, and receive 1-on-1 coaching sessions specific to your work-in-progress. You will receive specific feedback on your writing strengths and key next steps to help you continue on in your writing journey. (5 sessions) Let's empower you to: Create engaging characters Plot a page-turning story Bring life to your setting Increase conflict and tension Craft a satisfying ending to a story that's uniquely yours At the end of camp, you will have: A strong story outline A roadmap of how to complete the first draft of your original story Knowledge of your personal writing strengths A plan of where to go next in your creative writing journey Cancellations made 7 days or more in advance of the event date, will receive a 100% refund. Cancellations made within 3 - 6 days will incur a 20% fee. Cancellations made within 48 hours to the event will incur a 30% fee.
